So here we have Spyro showing Cynder around where he used to hang out and be badass in the old games c:
Roughly based on Midday Garden Home from the third game, Year of the Dragon (No ref used which is why it is roughly based, plus I added some things and got rid of that horrible temple building thing where you free Sgt. Bird and put a nice wall and tower there instead) :3
I know it's not possible to mix classic environments with TLOS characters.. let's just pretend they found a portal entitled 'CLASSIC WORLD' and they popped though and huzzah! Sheep fodder, sheep fodder for everyone!!
I wanna do some more of these, it would be a big inspirational help if you could comment your favourite level in the comments (from any of the old or new games) and I'll paint them with different characters in from the old and new games (Ember, Ignitus etc)
I made a concious effort to paint all of this in Paint Tool Sai as since I've gotten photoshop I've been doing most of my backgrounds with that - this is just to prove that I can still make nice background without a load of fancy speedpainting brushes
